Yesterday was bittersweet for me. I sold my IDI. I needed to sell the truck to finance some additional business expansion. I really hated to do it, but it is what it is. I wanted to use this post to thank all you guys and gals for helping me with all of the knowledge that you so freely share. I...
I had severe death wobble on my 93 after a new tire install. It was suggested by the local "4x4" shop to slap on a steering stabilizer and it would fix it. Instead took it home and replaced all ball joints, tre, drag link, and Trac bar bushings and now have zero death wobble. A steering...
My 7.3 ISI has over 420k miles and that goes up by 50 miles or so daily. The IDI is stupid simple and a great engine. I call B.S. on a $5000 IDI overhaul. I've seen too many guys do it for lotsa cheaper.

I have a flatbed on my 93 CCLB 4x4. I love it. My truck is on 37's as well. I wouldn't go back to having a regular bed. I have removable sides that fit in the stake pockets. The bed measures a little wider that 6' and a full 8' long. I can get you some more pics later if you would be interested.
