Wow I will get the msds before I take the oil.I know there are alot of old transformers out there this one is made in 1990,I will still check it out to make sure.
I will see if I can get more info from work on the type of oil in it.I am still waiting for them to decide on what they are doing with it.Hopefully I can get the oil,273 gallons is quite a bit of fuel.
Thanks for the reply's,as for a msds sheet I have been an electrician since the 80's so I know that pcb's were banned before 1990.Just not sure what happens to oil that's been heated and cooled for 23 years.I guess it would still be good the transformer was still in service till last year when...
A new thing started on my truck,the battery light is flickering.Cleaned the terminals and connections,no help.My battery's are not going dead it starts fine and the gauge reads in the middle of it.Any ideas,thanks for the help.
Ok guys I may have a chance to get 273 gallons of electrical transformer oil for free.Does anyone see a problem with running it thru my centrifuge and burning it in my 7.3 idi? The oil is used as a cooling oil in the transformer,it is pcb free. It was made in 1990.
In my experience with 4x4s larger tires = more rolling resistance,harder to get the extra mass started rolling.I have never gained mileage with larger tires.
The insulation missing will not affect the the ability of the wire to carry current. With not getting lights or anything I would suspect electrical as lights should work at anytime you pull the switch,key on or off.Check the fuse block to see if you have anything hot there when this happens.See...
I am running a stroke filter now but not sure if my water detector will work.The base on my 7.3 leaks and I cant seem to stop it so I switched to the stroker filter.
