Only takes four tools minus a timing meter an multi meter if ur auto. You could probley do it yourself in less than 3 hours. Local shops around here want 300-400 dollars to change a pump an none of them can even time it.- Devon Harley

Is Viton hose really that much better?
Typ4 sells the viton kits best kit money can & will by. Never had ford or ih kits but had auto stores an wow what a waste if time. thinking about bailing ship
Got one in back yard has cracked head an bad bearings. Guys bailing for taking 800-1000 bucks for everything after putting 2500-3k in the last year. Rad,pump,injectors,gps,alt,ac,vac pump, an c6 trans. Makes me wanna cry for him. He's got money to fix but cold feet he went almost to the finish...- Devon Harley

why are these trucks so rare?
I see bout 50/50 idi's an efi's running around San Diego. Most are **** trucks that the Spanish use for land scap bis. Most f-super duty are parked or being sold. Btw 500-600 is about what anygood ip cost. There is a local shop that builds really nice turbo pumps. My 2 idi's are all I have to...- Devon Harley

mech temp gauge installed, 210 is normal right?
The over heat port in drivers head. It's about 90-95 degrees not much humidity though. I changed my fan clutch cause it was at 210 normal driving went back down an bounced up. I believe if I had the right coolant I would be 190. Good cooling system is extremely important if you tow I find that...- Devon Harley

ATS 093 Comp Housing
I replaced one with simple window screen rubber that goes around the edge to hold the screen to the frame. Works great picked up about 5psi. Super glue or any really strong glue to keep it in place I melted the center 2 together with a lil propane torch. I'm sure glue would do you fine though.- Devon Harley

Shame on me I know!!! So is it 3400 or 3800 two different answer? I've saw same gearIng an trans loose 10 mph. An it was the torque curve maxing out at 2800 in the sticky up top I got that mixed up.- Devon Harley

the bull moose runs a 2800 gov. He doesn't have a tach just by ear. he ran outta rpm before boost climbed to high. An I can believe that as John is very carefull with his right foot an doesn't like to turn past 2k an most days. The hill he was on is not long but it's steep kinda great hill for a...- Devon Harley

You may have to get use to it. I know an heard many times of how you drive an your gonna really really hate having your governor set so low it sucks balls IMO. You will loose xy speed per gear so you running around 25mph in second before you wanna shift at like 15 mph because it tachs out so...- Devon Harley
