c6 automatic out of a 1989 ford f350 diesel 4x4, I had the transmission rebuilt 2 years ago($1400), with new internals and torque converter that I only put on 15k miles since. Only problem is that the bottom of the bell housing cracked which wont effect the tranny in any way. Tranny will1987-91...
Where did you get the arp head studs? How much was it to get your pistons machined like that and are those stock pistons? Great build by the way I'm rebuilding my engine and I plan on running a he351ve and whatever power the stock pump will push.
I want to replace them because I'm currently rebuilding my engine and they have 3 or 4 cracks reaching just a hair before the compression ring line and i'm not taking those chances. Thanks for all of your replies.
I've looked every where and I'm having a hard time finding how to remove and replace the pre combustion chambers. If anyone can post a link or know anyone I can have it done by in western pa, it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Ryan
now itis running and my dad drove it about a mile and it died at idle but will start up right away and idle if your on the throttle but ists really rough and it blows bluye smoke time to time but thats most likely because i havce it running on about 3 gallons mixed with 16 gallons of ulsd
i jus installed a new ip on my truck yes i was dumb and took the gear off im pretty sure i got in dead on tho but if i let it idle it'll shut right off i bled the lines what should i do?
how do you test the fuel shut off solenoid on the pump? because i wanna see if this is causing me my fuel problems before i get my pump repaced thanx in advance
my front tank is like that it wont draw out all the fuel but also the thing that tells how much fuel is left in a tank is not working right in the front tank and i finally got a full tank of furl in the front and the truck has no problem and has no effects like the rear tank
