Boost Guage?

New springs or lift kit?
Its time for some suspension work! The front springs are about 1/4 an inch from the bump stops. Not only that, but the shocks are shot all the way around. I've done some checking, and new front springs are going to run about $400 to $500 installed. I can get a 4 inch lift with shocks for $549...- Biggreen94

I checked the FIPL and it was 1.15 V at idle and 3.85 at WOT. So what else could it be? Trans is full, and its not running hot. :confused:- Biggreen94

Trans Problems Again!
The trans in my truck(E4OD) is acting funny again. Pulling up to a stop sign it acts like the converter isn't unlocking. Driving down the road it wants to shift back in and out of overdrive. I also noticed the tach doesn't work at idle, but does work going down the road. :confused: Could this be...- Biggreen94

Trans Fluid?
Which trans fluid goes in the E4OD? I don't have the book to my truck and I can't find it anywhere on the truck. It was rebuilt about 5000 miles ago and I'm puttin on a new trans cooler and thought I would change the fluid while I was at it. Is it Mercon, Mercon-V or Mercon-SP :confused:- Biggreen94

Some questions?
One more question. I just had the E4OD rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. I'm putting on a BIG trans cooler and thought I might as well change the trans filter while I was at it. Are there any trans fluids that work better in these transmissions, or are they all about the same. :confused:- Biggreen94

Is my DP gonna work???
I got the Banks DP today. What a rip off!! :mad: I paid $100 for a 2 foot piece of pipe with a couple of small bends. A friend of mine at the exhaust shop told me he could make the same thing for about $15!!! I guess you live and learn :rolleyes:- Biggreen94

Guages are on the way, and the 3inch DP and 4 inch exhaust will be on next week. ;Sweet As far as the guages go, I'm going with a Pyro, Boost and Trans Temp. I figured out the external screw, but where do I find the internal? :confused:- Biggreen94

Since this is my first IDI truck, I have a few questions. I was reading about shortning the arm on the wastegate to increase the boost and was wondering about how you do this. After the DP I'm going with a straight 4inch with the rear section for a 99 up 250. I got the rear section from Napa for $50. I got the idea from on here, but I can't find the thread about it now.- Biggreen94
