    Well that's discouraging! I think I'm going to try to get that pulley off anyway and hope for the best. I pulled the whole bracket assembly off of a truck. It had the Vac pump power steering pump and tensioner on it. Didn't look like I can do that with the van but I will check.

    it didn't look like the belt tensioner shock would be hard to take off but with mine it's not going to come off. I can't check it out right now because the bus is broke down away from home but I think the bolt is spinning and I can't hold the nut.

    Thanks for the reply Macrobb. The piston blocks access to one bolt completely. I did take a pump off a truck with no problems inching all bolts out together, but the bus is much harder. Anyone know if it's a special puller or will a universal work?

    I have a 94 E350 with a 7-3 IDI and I can't seem to figure out how to get the vacuum pump off! Do I need to pull the pulley? And if so anyone know if the rentals from AutoZone or Advanced will work? BTW, I have some kind of little stabilizer or tensioner piston on the right side of my pulley...

    Enough spring to keep from leaking. I didnt pull check, just took line off and stuck a alan wrench in there. Must be something stuck in the seat i cant see.

    Checked check valve. Seems free but it makes sense this is problem. Feel pulse little in return line and has not been going in gear very quick at start up. Especilly reverse. Could that be TC draining?

    Sounds like something is spinning for 30-40 sec after shut down. Its a pulsing the slows to a stop. May be wrong but my gut says fluid

    Ok thanks again! Switched horn and teca relay. No change. Tried to pinpoint where noise is coming from? Sounds closer to rear trans line. Don't think its electrical.

    Can anyone tell me where the teca relay is in a 94 E350 ? Trouble shooting a solenoid buzz from trans after shut down.

    Still poking around in the short bus. O/D button started flashing and noticed noise like fluid pressure being released in oil pan. Continues for minute or two after shut down. On way to Marqette UP Michigan tomorrow, would like to know whats up. Any ideas? Does not seem overly hot and...
