Why on Earth would someone WANT that front end on a truck?!? Even on bone-stock factory '08 trucks, it looks like it fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down  LOL :puke:

BTW, here's what it would look like if someone put a SuperDuty bed on a slant-nose truck... no thank you :rotflmao

Wow, not bad! I can't believe how good it fits. Nice and tight on the ends. I wonder if any fab work had to be done to get it to fit or did it just bolt up?

Too bad it won't work for an IDI. The step doesn't look big enough to stand on for all the work you need to do to keep it running. :)

Okay so I can understand that maybe someone might have a reason to want a 08 Front End on an old truck, but what I can't understand is why would they go through all that trouble have have it look like that? They didn't even bother to make custom fenders or modify the hood to fit the grille. At least put some effort into the craftsmanship. As for the Superduty bed, at least that's the same color as the truck. That I can understand, especially if the old bed was rusted out or something.

If I drove my truck more, I'd do that bumper swap. My truck even has the same red/white color scheme.

As for the truck in the OP....I don't understand why you would do that swap to a rusted out POS.

While not my favorite body style, the 08-10 trucks don't look too bad in the right setup. However, I much preferred the FX4 grille:

That made me throw up in my mouth. The superduty bed was a close second. The bumper was a nice fit. I like the extra air holes in it that can be used as a foot hold when working on the engine.

Actually the IDEA is great, however the execution is just that...an execution LOL.

I'd do this with the first gen SD after OBS grill and those headlights...those headlights help beat some lift laws by having them lower ;) and thus better :D for lifting if laws require headlights to be at a certail level.

There was a kit for an OBS at one time where the frist gen SD grille could be made to fit, it may still happen to my truck...one day ROFL
