The Scrarlet Moose (soon to be renamed Iron Moose I'm told) got a new set of 35 X 12.5 X 16.5 tires. Paint job and Exahust system forthcoming.

Putting more miles on the crew cab. So far so good. I've got plans to haul the camper this weekend and give it a real test. If it fails.......... the consequences will be dire!

To my friends in the real world, I just soaked old pairs of Fruit of the looms in diesel. They got the spirit of the point.

I guess the idea is that I shouldn't wear the Fruit of the Looms after soaking in #2, it just makes for a creepy puppet theater

So since I figured out that the restriction gauge could be pod mounted, I decided to get my last 3 gauge pod installed today.

I have had s Fuel Pressure, and Vacuum gauges sitting around for quite some time, just could not decide what the 3rd gauge was going to be. Now I know.

Just have to get the lines run to their respective spots on the motor.

The Restriction Guage is upside down, as it would not fit correctly the right way up, but doesn't make a vi sable difference.

dash is mocked, final install tomorrow. secret rally project is also finished.

New calipers are installed, exhaust leaks are gone, a front end inspection revealed that the drivers side spring aligning pin had broken and the axle had ridden forward about a half inch on the leaf spring. Disassembly and repair of the front end is complete with a new aligning bolt and a new drivers side outter tie rod end. I feel much better about the front end and it tracks straight for 5+ telephone pole lengths now Work is not finished though

Made progress! 6.9 went from short block to almost dressed. Ran out of mountain dew and had to stop
