I don't understand all this talk about plowing it when it all just melts the next day???

Yeah right, I have had icy driveways for weeks, event months at times. Plow them and they are clean and dry in a day or two. I don't even live in an area that typically has bad winters.:dunno

I had never plowed with a v until i bought this plow and used it last winter. I had always plowed with 7' to 8 1/2' straight plows. I LOVE my v plow and don't ever want to go back....

those pics were from when i was making the mount. i used the original bucket controls to power the up and down and side to side. thing worked great. could push more than i thought it would.and i did add some kickers to the bottom of the bracket so it couldnt fold down.

for work I use a '98 suburban with a 7'6" Boss V-plow, also have a manual adjustment 8' straight plow on a '82 ramcharger, and for clearing my house and driveway I use a set of 1958 Bobcat snowblowers, a 5hp and an 8hp, and I will never buy a new snowblower after seeing how CRAPPY even the big John Deer models are compared to my oldies

Very nice.;Sweet I'm doing that exact same thing right now. Sandblasting, painting and installing an 8' Western on the '350. Been shopping on Ebay for parts and pieces. Mine's gonna be yellow with white undercarriage to match the Logger.:sly A Western decal kit will keep people guessing also.LOL

While we're on the subject of plows. I am considering picking this plow truck up to maybe do some small residential driveways and such. I'm just not sure if its up to the job. It does also have a V-plow that i could mount on it. I'm 6'1" and i can just see over the center of the V. I'm just not sure if this truck would be able to handle that wet stuff though. hopefully the picture shows up :D
