On the 69 I'm building it has a behind the seat gas, So it looks like i would have to mount this high in the engine compartment to prevent siphon, and the fuel pump quitting? Or can i mount them on frame under the cab and be done with it?

I got mine too. It's going in the Lady Moose. I hope to do a tech article at the same time.

You have to mount is as high as possible or cavitation sets in, these pumps are designed to pull fuel rather than push it, they don't like to be down low. Under your hood - top of one of the fender wells should work just fine.

Im wanting to buy a facet sometime but Im still getting conflicting information about mounting. Some say its meant to pull, then some say its still ok to mount on the frame. Id rather mount it on the frame between the fsv and my goldenrod. This is my current setup with my elcheapo pump till I can get the spare funds to buy a facet.

Would where this pump is be to low and cause cavitation with a facet?
