I have had no problems when entering a sled pull, One pull I was in the street stock class. I have only done it 2 times with the Cummins.

Not anywhere around my neck of the woods. You would be put in expo class and there is no pay off.
And the sad part is your cummins is pretty close to stock, but they just dont care.

The BUCK http://www.buckmotorsports.com/ about 2 hours from me you would pull but they just go by turbo size

Yeah. But that is alot of money going down the track for free. Then someone else is charging a fee for people to watch you.

That is why i am in the street class. Minimal investment, parts are cheap and when the payout for 1st is $100 you can kinda laugh it off. The hot classes typically get $150 for 1st. It is a joke for the money laid out to get $150 payout

:rotflmao:rotflmao:rotflmao:rotflmao They ain't doing it for the money no one does it for the money its impossible:rotflmao My wife won $100 pulling antique tractors but we spent $90 just to pull and that don't include fuel for the tractor at $5 something a gallon (this was 8 years ago) plus the cost of getting there so the joke was we needed another tractor so we could make more money :rotflmao. Even the nascar boys that win don't make enough to pay for racing the only people you will ever see making money in motor sports has merchandise and sponsors;Sweet

I would gather if he wanted to make money at doing this he would probably use something a better HP to weight ratio - but either way I say run it as an expo and enjoy the ride. Not everything in life is about making money - sometimes you just do something for the sheer fun of it..... sort of like ***.... you don't get paid but it's fun....

Yup, just for fun. I figure I'd be shoved into the exposition class with the repower. Most places round here don't care as long as the enigine in your truck was available in a 1 ton or smaller pickup. Could care less if I win, it is always something I wanted to play around with. Same as dragging the truck at TS.

Pretty Sweet Heath! That is going to make a great Home Depo Plywood Hauler!
Yup, it will be a hoot in the hospital parking lot sitting between a Lexus and a Benzo.;Sweet

Shoot, I still get funny looks and comments after working here for almost 4 years. Every other month, I'll pull into the physican parking and a passerby will say.... "Hey, that parking is for doctors only." I say "I know" and just keep walking.:rotflmao

I think Im gonna spend my return on gettin my cab mounts replaced, I saw the thread on the body mounts heath any complaints about the product? I know you said they were hell to access but other than that do you like them? and where could I get some of the grease mentioned over there. Know I probably should have put this over there but what can I say Im lazy.

Dude, I'm sorry I completely missed your questions the 1st time.

No complaints about the Energy Suspension stuff except that they don't give you the special lube with the kit. That has to be purchased separately. I got both from Summit Racing. They sell a three pack of the lube.

It would be nice if they provided a decent puller for getting the sleeves inside the mounts apart. You will need about a 6 inch long piece of three inch exhaust pipe, a thick three inch washer, and several 6 inch or longer 7/16th course thread bolts with nuts to pull them apart. They say to just use the stock hardware to pull them apart, but I really think you'll ruin them if you do.

The driver's side rear mount was a PITA from the start. I had to pull the tank skid plate, the loosen the rear strap and remove the front strap all together. I have it supported on a jack stand at the moment, but I didn't have to unhook the lines/hoses from the tank.

I'll try and post up some photos when I get to work on them this weekend and have some spare time to put them on my webshots.

thanks I I wont plan on attempting this until I am home sometime, maybe spring break, that way I am positive I have the tools and materials neccesary. plus I was looking over the truck the other day and found that someone was nice enough to either tip or overflow a battery on the passenger side so I will have some welding to do on that piece of channel that the body mount goes to, it is rusted to chit
