On pre '92 trucks it took some cutting so the best route was to burn it on!

Scrap. If you don't have an air chisel with the tools to chisel rivets, it'd be a huge pain. I had the ols stuff out in NO TIME.

All in all it rides nice, the steering wanders a little, when I turn the wheel the tie rods twist before they do anything. may jusy go full high steer. Need to get in the front shaft and get the sway bars connected, anyone know if the 2x4 and 4x4 sway bars are different?

Front or rear? The front sway bars on a 60 tie into the axle and mount between the rear spring hanger and bump stop.

As a side note, if you'd like to part with the quarter windows in that donor truck shoot me a pm.

I meant the windows in the extended cab. But no worries. So you don't have a 60 sway bar set? I can give you a parts run down.

So here is the sway bar.

Here are the brackets that mount it to the axle. The muffler clamp looking thing goes on pass side of the pumpkin. The other one bolts to the drivers side I think.

The links go up to the frame to these brackets behind the bump stops and before the spring hanger.

Mine aren't all cleaned up yet unfortunately.

That should be all of it.

Oh, you need the rear sway bar stuff for the sterling? My 250 I don't think had one. This is the one off my 350 parts truck that is going in my truck..whatever it is. For reference, here is the sway bar.

Were do you get the kit from? Would like to do my truck

My stuff came off an F-350. 90 that I pulled the dana 60 and rear axle from. I have no idea if it's available from the aftermarket but some kit probably could be made to work.

It's the PMF kit. Everyone recommends v code springs for a soft ride. I have x code and they're super soft. Almost wonder if i should run dual shocks. Hoping with the sway bars it'll tighten things up a bit.

Sure you can. The 4x4 and 2wd bars are the same, it's just the 2wd links are S-shaped and bolt to the outside of the frame rail, while the 4x4 links are straight and bolt to the bottom of the frame with brackets. Cut the 2wd links in half in the straight section right above the bar and extend them as needed. IIRC 1/2" black iron gas pipe is about perfect for the job, this is not really a high stress area that requires DOM tubing for the extensions (altho if you have DOM of proper size by all means use that).

Same idea can be applied in the front if your existing links come up short. Not sure where you can get the F350 brackets there tho, I'd probably just make my own if I needed them. Or try running rear links on the front as well (extended as needed) should be enough space to sneak them in between the springs and the frame, especially with the extra clearance the RSK setup gives you.

Out of curiosity, why did you go to SRW? Kinda limits what you can haul, 6100lbs is what a pair of single wheels maxes out, in comparison the DRW setup cap is 8800lbs.

Last picture I posted. The three holes above it are the shock mount. The holes in front of it are the front overload bumper location.
