1990 zf s542 to 1996 zf s547
I have a 1990 F350 2 door 4x4 7.3 IDI manual transmission that went bad. Got a 1996 F350 Powerstroke manual transmission. Is this a direct swap? I notice that the way the rear drive shaft connects is different. Will the 96 driveshaft work in the 1990?- N8lang1975
