Previous difficult cold start > Now it seems like not getting fuel and won't start at all
About my 1993 7.3 idi w/turbo ...Well, I thought I could use the block heater to bypass glow plug system. I'll try to be a brief as possible here to explain ... first time using it ..Plugged in block heater for about 2-3 hrs. on a relatively warm 60 degrees F evening... Block Heater & Oil Pan adhesive heater to bypass glow plugs?
Do you think installing both a coolant immersive block heater and an oil pan heater plugged in overnight would make a relatively easy cold start in the morning with glow plug system disabled? Or still need active glow plugs? My temps only down to maybe 29 F coldest. My '93 7.3 can't seem to keep...- Baxter
