Really wishing I had a zf5...TPS sensor.
The "plug" next to the oil cap (screws into the timing cover) is a tach sensor. It can be tested by removing and checking with an ohm meter. Should be 2000 - 3000 ohms. I've had to replace mine twice. When bad, trans goes into limp mode and/or shifts erratically. Cost is about $50. Dorman part #...- 734me
