Whats do you think,1986, 6.9, f350, 50k original firetruck value?
Hi I have a chance to buy a superclean, retired 1986 regular cab, dually 2 wd with automatic. It has an ambulance body on back but they used it for emergency equipment apparently. Under the hood looks like new. Its always been in firehouse. I don’t really need it and can barely afford it...- jdphish

Would you buy 480,000 7.3 PSD?
I have a chance to buy an 2001 f350 at great price. It has high miles. Only thing not working is the AC. Otherwise it runs and drives great. Its just like my 2002 f350 that needs new front parts. (Another thread). Its an automatic, 4x4. Shifts and 4x4 works great. Would love to hear...- jdphish

Oil leak advice
My 2002 powerstroke 7.3 has been sitting up for 7 months as I slowly rebuild the frontend. Today I noticed this oil leak I had never seen before. I am concerned becuase 1) it never had a leak before. 2) we had a hard freeze after I took bad water pump off. Looks like its coming from around...- jdphish

Help please, 2002 7.3 convert to a 6.0 frontend
My 2002 F350 with 7.3 was crashed in front. A big 3 way ball went thru the bumper above cross member and took out all the cooling, except steering. The Ford dealer body shop estimated $8500 to repair the truck, essentially totalling it (but I only had liability). So I have what I think are...- jdphish

7.3 IDI turbo cold starting problem
Hi, My old reliable truck won't start now. I got in it this morning, turned on the kyehyvv and let glowplug light go off. Thgen I cranked it...it spuddered and shuttered, way more than usual, and ran for maybe 30 seconds super rough. Then it idled down real slow and died. No biggie, I think...- jdphish

Question from newby about AC compressor plug, the red part inside.
Hi, I am new here thanks to IDIot sending me here from youtube. I have a 1994 idi turbo. I had to get to tensioner pulley so I unbolted AC compressor and unplugged front and back connections. When I got all that back together, I couldn't get back plug to go on right. So I ended up breaking...- jdphish
