Another VRV question
You can remove the upper valve section from a GM part and thread onto the lower section of a working Ford part. The GM part will not work directly because the valve is mounted on the opposite side of the IP in the GM application. IIRC I paid $25 for the GM donor part for mine. Fuel Sending Units
FWIW, I just fixed the front sender on mine by buying the sender unit for a same era Ranger on Ebay. If you pull the plastic cover that is under the float arm, you will find a small ceramic printed circuit board. This is likely what has failed in the sending unit.
