Here is a link to a new fuel sending unit even though it is a two ports version: http://www.gaudinautoparts.com/ford/f-350/f6tz9275ca/1995-year/xlt-trim/7-3l-v8-diesel-engine/fuel-system-cat/fuel-system-components-scat/?part_name=fuel-sender-unit
It is pricy though.
I just bought a fuel sending unit for my rear tank, one made for 1995-1997 7.3 diesel trucks for $351, ouch! What a rip off! But this the best price I can find for Ford OEM fuel sending unit, I think it comes with the filter screen.
Which fuel sending unit should I get of these two?
One is 19 gallon after axle (steel) and the other is 18 gallon after axle (plastic)

What do you think about bed flooring (48x16) from LMC truck?
I forgot to say that I bought the fuel sending unit for $120 from NOS Parts Ltd. http://www.nospartsltd.com/product-p/f4tz9275e.htm
Ford stopped making the fuel sending units for diesel.
The reason why the fuel tank was missing is because one of the previous owners of my truck was carrying a car battery in one of the side tool boxes which leaked, ate a hole though the tool box, through the bed floor and wrecked the rear fuel tank.
It was sold to be with rear tank missing.
Here...
Doesn't the 38 gallon rear tank do away with the spare wheel carrier?
My vehicle is missing the fuel filler neck as well for the rear tank, so would a fuel filler neck for a SRW work with a DRW?
Hmm, I should have thought about that when I bought the fuel sending unit for my rear tank for my 1994 7.3 idi that is right now missing the rear tank.
What is next for me is to order the 19 gallon fuel tank!
