Negative. The 6.2 Banks chargers were non-wastegated(T04B) turbos. The 6.9/7.3 chargers were non-wastegated at first and later on were wastegated. I can tell you the Banks nonwastegated charger(i think it's the T04B, someone correct me if i'm wrong) on my K-5 is pretty slow to build boost, but it doesn't sound like it. My friends say it whistles like an ol Mack, yet i've rarely topped 5 psi boost in that truck. Boost comes in around...- IamDave0887

new glow plug recommendations?
I'm running the Bosch Duraterm 80034s in both my trucks. My 96 will glow for about 10 seconds on the coldest days, since the compute rmakes up for temps. Mechanical 6.5 turbo?
I'd have to agree with Towcat. The 96 in my avatar has a DS4 pump on it and I had the stock PMD crap out on me. It's be fine if the PMD just died, but no it can't just die. Honestly couldn't argue with anything posted if i wanted to. 100% spot on. The only thing I'd add is be careful of the early 506 blocks if you come across one.
