idles but nothin else
Well let me explain...I just put the motor in around January 1st. The cable is fine and when I move the throttle at the pump it does nothin. I know its in the pump,but I was hoping that maybe there is a lever inside, or plunger that can be accessed from outside the pump that might sometimes...- countryboy

POWER STEERING HARD TO TURN
Cheap possible fix=lucas oil power steering fix expensive fix = pump Is it leaking ? Is the belt ok? the lucas oil stuff can work sometimes so if you try it and it does you spent 7-8 bucks! if it doesn't your only out 7-8 bucks!- countryboy

Hey I have a 6.2 in a 94 chev. It will start and idle but when ya hit the throttle it doesn't change any. Just stays at idle. I have took the top off the pump and poured in some berryman's B-12 and let it soak then tried it again and still no difference. I was hoping for a simple fix instead of...- countryboy

How do ya check the high pressure oil pump on a 97 7.3? Where on the motor is the fitting for the guage to check it? Is there any way to test the ECM? The darn thing quit going down the road.... I have done replaced the crank sens and the lift pump. the glow plugs are good as well. Its...- countryboy

I know what you mean. A buddy bought from Wis bought a truck to drive down here and then gave it to me. That poor thing had so much rust it was sad looking!! The doors was eat half way up!! the frame was scary. And it was an 87' chevy. they must pour the salt on all year round every two days...- countryboy

I am getting 28 with a jacked up 69 chevy with a 6.2, 4-speed,4.10s, and 40"s swampers! But the real surprise is when I'm on my biofuel... 30-32 mpg!!!!! :dunno:thumbsup:- countryboy

4.10 vs 3.55
I am that friend! I also have a 69 4wd with 4.10s and I hate them and thats with 40 in swampers! I have axles with 3.73s thats goin in with 44s. But my 6.2 is some kinda freak and has way more power than it should. The 72 has the oppisite engine in it. It was weak when it was in its donor 89...- countryboy
