    My 4 door is open. It has a manual tranny. My supercab has a limited slip, but it also has an auto. Every auto truck I have had/played with has had a limited slip.

    Where is a safe place to put a block heater on a 6.9? I heard that freeze plug style htrs can crack the block. Any recommendations?

    6.9 where a 7.3 was What Clutch?

    Okay I know its somewhere but I couldn't find the thread. I am putting a 6.9 where a 7.3 used to be. I will be using the zf5. Which clutch set up should I use? I plan on using the 6.9 flywheel. Also will I need to bore out the dowell holes in the bellhousing? What else am I missing?

    Who is using the hypermax cowl intake?

    It works good for getting cool air to the engine. I don't like it because my parts truck had one. After sitting through a rainy spring/summer my crankcase had 2 gallons of water in it. The air filter was sopping wet/rusted. I don't know if whoever put it on goofed but I wasn't proud.

    I have been working in muffler shops for 9 yrs now. My favorite for n/a trucks is a 3" glasspack. I have fixed the y pipe on several of my trucks and put on a glasspack and it made a difference.

    Cost of adding a turbo?

    I bought a 2wd with a hypermax turbo and a nice flatbed for a grand. I took the turbo and flatbed for my other truck and turned the 2wd back to n/a. I will probably trade it for a $1500 horse trailer.

    What do you use for a tranny. Some of the busses with 466 had allisons but haven't seen one in a while.

    He says that he gets 52mpg. I have tried talking him into turbo and intercooling. He said it struggled in the mountains. I don't know if the engine can handle it.
