Yeah; while the injector is out, I'd like to use a bore scope to see what else is going on in there! Is it true that the rusty part of the injector doesn't exactly reflect the condition of the actually cylinder bore? I'd like to clean it up regardless but I feel like it's going to be hard...- Nick382

The main issue was that the lines were in the way of me getting the adapter in the GP hole. They got knocked loose, and for whatever reason would drip after I ran the starter. Found out the solenoid does in fact shut the engine down when unplugged while running. After that I clamped the fuel supply hose to the lift pump, and ran the truck until it died. Purged the cylinders of the remaining fuel after all the glow plugs came out, and did the compression test. This...- Nick382

I cranked the engine 5 bumps for each cylinder and there was still fuel pumping on number 8. I thought the shutoff solenoid wouldn't allow fuel to the IP at all without power.
