Need a Washer or reinforcing disc for my flywheel

Wish I did. Might know where one is though. I will let you know if I come up with one. I have 1, but it's in a set with the bolts and spacer for the flywheel. I don't want to break the set up.

Any update on the sending unit? Does it work for the 87 and up properly jhenegh? One other question. Are there different straps that are needed to mount this tank? I'm not really sure about the way the rear tanks mount.

7.3 build thread. What would you do?

I know for a fact that if my spare block is built, new Pistons will be a must. There are cracks in the top of them. No Idea on my running engine. I can run a mic. Pretty sure I can check the crank and hopefully, one of the two I have will work. Anyone have a suggestion on a bore...

7.3 build thread. What would you do?

It is about time to yank the engine and get some new parts on it! I am very excited to get this project started. I have in my possession head studs, rebuilt heads, a typ4 cam and a new gasket set. The engine in my truck runs well, but I am suspicious of the valve train starting to get...

    OBS intercooler option

Although that is a great looking kit, it wouldn't fit on my truck. I went with the cxracing intercooler myself and it works really nice. 1992 2wd dual rear wheel has the front anti sway bar up in front of the lower part of the radiator support. If you want this intercooler kit, make...

    Mating a 6.9 to E4OD

It will bolt up fine, problem is your factory turbo engine has a flex plate that is balanced differently than a non factory turbo engine. You will need to get a flex plate from an NA 7.3. As to the 6.9 bolting to it, maybe....my truck had a c6 bolted to an e4od flexplate when I bought it......

finally! the long awaited engine build.

I bet this guy would have what you need....I was there last week, but didn't have any time to make contact and see if he would part out the belt assembly. It snowed all 3 days we were in Fort Collins too. http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/pts/5239912092.html

1986 6.9 IDI leaking oil. HELP!

Welcome! The only way to find an oil leak is to see it coming out. Sometimes that is hard on a dirty engine. Clean it up some and watch for new oil coming out. These things tend to seep oil out of every pore, but shouldn't leave a puddle anywhere. Oil filter could be it, but the valve...

    7.3 Idi build

From what I understand, and the graphs I have seen, here is what I know. The typ4 cam comes on very strong off idle, really brings the power in starting over 1600 rpm or so, then seems to drop off when closing in on 3000 rpm. I have one of these on the shelf waiting to go in. Justin's...

    7.3 Idi build

Depends on where in the rpm band you want the power. Lower rpm range, get a typ4 cam. Higher in the rpm range, give Justin a call.

    Hood Stuck Closed

On an OBS, you can reach the lever the cable pulls pretty easy. Hardest part is knowing where to get your fingers behind. I will open mine all the time that way if I am too lazy to walk around and pull the cable.....

New Factory Steering Wheel or Cover Options?

;Really Wonder if the cruise buttons are the same.....but now I got to find out! I hate the steering wheel,in my truck. It is hideous. I am going to at least swap it over to a newer f-150 OBS style with the airbag. That will help me with my newer cruise control swap too.

I think I am going to go pick up that one in the salvage yard here, just in case someone here needs one for an OBS. Any idea on the best way to ship something that big?

    Core Support Help Needed

You can find the short wide radiators. I saw one company when I was researching mine. Core support.....nope. Not for a tall diesel. They are not made. Salvage is the only way. I know where a good OBS one is, but it isn't in my possession right now, and doesn't help you with your brick...

    7.3 Idi build

What's your budget on this build? They are all great upgrades to perform, but also very costly. I have my parts. Typ4 cam, head studs, rebuilt turbo engine heads, and various odds and ends, and I am already at about 1800 or so. I haven't decided if the bottom end is coming apart yet. I...

I think you will find o-rings to be nowhere near big enough on that particular fitting. The way the olives work is quite different from any type o-ring. Btw, if you reall want to forget it forever, have a look at my thread on Mel's (www.conestogadiesel.com) replacement line. Look about...
