    Those Nokian tires are all radials. I checked their site for both winter and summer tires, and all tire sizes are all listed as xxx/xx/Rxx which means radial. Driving fast on ice is just a bad idea. Your experience with tires blowing out is not definite proof of radials being inferior...

    The bushing is stronger. A needle bearing can be damaged during installation and you won't know it until its all together. I use bushings in all my cars, even if they came with a needle bearing. The only time they spin is when the clutch is pushed in.

    I seriously doubt that. If your tire has a "r" next to the size, it is a radial, not bias. All speed rated tires are radial. I don't even know if a bias has ever been made in the last 20 years that was rated for high speeds. All my cars have "W" speed ratings and all my vehicles use radials.

    Sounds like you will be fine just towing a car. Air brake conversion? Why? Also, what did your brakes come from? Are you now running 8 lugs?

    They are not. Brakes are much smaller and the frame is not designed to do the work of an f350. There is nothing more expensive than cutting corners when it comes to towing.

    I would think that a 26ft trailer would be too much for an f150, even if you modded it. Even an f250 would be running close to the limit. There is more than just the drive train and springs that are different.

    Yes, it is. The better you can remove heat, the more control you have. Ever run your idi hot? I have. I would rather be able to pull more heat out of the engine. Keeping it in is the easy part.

    Pistons and heads are not made from aluminum. They are made from an alloy that contains aluminum that will not melt at 1280. I have run my iron block/al head race car for hours at a time at 1200+ and have run other cars at up to 1400 with no damage.

    Your booster likely has a tear in it. Also, when you replace the booster, see if the back of the master is leaking into the booster. That can cause failures in the booster, too.
