    Possible Air leak causing it to lose it's Prime ..? Could be a GP relay if the WTS never light's up . Next time that happen crack open the fuel filter and see if it's full to the brim , If it lost it's prime the filter will be almost empty

    The Tach sensor installed and its a great news ,Tach read perfect no dips , No bouncy Tach needle or drooping flat on it's face , And the best thing it will stop tripping the O/D light. Good luck hunting one . Keep an eye on E-Bay

    OLDBUll8 .. What would you suggest to use as source of power to the Tach. Instruction show to use 12v terminal on ignition switch or other switched 12V source.! Was thinking to connect to the POSITIVE of Alt and use a 4amp fast acting fuse inline

    Cooler all fitted in , Tech sensor and Tranny gauge on its way. Had to mod the hood latch bracket for the cooler to fit in up front other than few barb fitting to convert the line from 5/16 to the giant 1/2" the process was smooth .

    I guess that could explain why it ran out of fuel on me when my fuel gauge show I am less than 1/4 tank the 1st time I drive the truck after I bough her Now I switch tanks when I am less of a 1/4 tank

    6.0 PSD Tranny Aux cooler all fitted in place of the mini Pocket stock cooler . it was relatively easy mod , Had to cut the hood latch vertical bracket that goes across the front to make it fit , Few fitting to convert the 5/16 to 1/2 " house Old Cooler

    can any one please tell me the Size of the Tranny test port so i can get the right fitting for the Trans Oil gauge. Is it 1/8" NPT ID. and the head of the plug is 11mm ..? Thanks

    going to stick a Giant AUX 6.0 PSD Tranny cooler to replace the stock one along with Tranny temp gauge

    Agreed .However when you receive a conflict ways of testing during the process of elimination and minimum knowledge of these pumps it leaves you in stage of the unknown that is all .i know i need a new /rebuild pump as mine is leaking but got to save up 4 it

    Uhhaaaaaa Now i am following you dead on Capt . SO here is my plan i am going to remove the small Stock AUX Cooler and replace it with the Giant 6.0PSD Cooler in place . Add a Oil Temp gauge to the tranny test port and call it a day

    Interesting test result out of my IP , After i spoke to my local Diesel shop tech which they are the main distributor dealer for Stanadyne diesel pumps, They also rebuild them @ the shop , etc . He said to test the internal timing gear correctly the RPM must be @ 2k then hit the timing arm ...

    Thanks IDIoit I have a line coming from the Trany going to the Radiator at the bottom and plan to keep it that way , Then the line goes / feed to a small Stock cooler in front of the Rad towards the left if you looking at the truck and return to the trans if i understood it correctly .! or...

    I was planing to replace the stock cooler with the 6.0PSD cooler .! Do you leave the stock cooler in place regardless ? If I am adding an AUX cooler should I mount it behind the grill and in line with the stock .

    Did any one install the Trans cooler out of 6.0 PSD in their IDI in place of the stock one , I figured since it's 3 times the size of the stock one it might do the trick of providing enough cooling power when pulling a 30ft + camper

    Best way to purge a diesel , I do the same in the VW TDI but never thought of it in the IDI untill you mentioned it .. NAPA down the street sells LM Diesel Purge i will get me some and get busy
