I've been pleased with my Yokohamas.
I run the HTX on the dually.
2 were made in Taiwan and 4 in Japan .?.
Anyway, 2 have about 20k and 4 have about 15k ... all look and ride good. IMHO as good as the Michelin that I've run before.
Sounds like FSV failed, to me.
It's on the driver side frame rail behind the cab. Follow the fuel lines and you'll find it. Your view may be obscured by skid plate.
The reverse lights, that I installed a few months ago, went T/U. Several diodes were out and they had a gallon of condensation in them.
I found these on Amazon. They have a strobe driver built into them. They're still cheap lights but this time I gave them a good "once over" with high flow...
Also could be FSV is not letting return fuel to the front tank (ie: pugged return, partially stuck FSV, etc.).
It's happened to me.
Edit: I should read more carefully ... I see that's already been suggested.
Yesterday I met a member of our forum, in person, to buy some parts.
I didn't manage to show up with correct change ... Member asks wife: "Do you have a 10?" ... wife responds: "10 mm?"
PURE GREATNESS!
You’re welcome.
I’d use TheWesPaul’s ideas.
You can search the forum for key words + member name...or just browse through what you find by searching “electric fuel pump”.
Lot’s of reading...enjoy!
Welcome to the forum.
I’ve run the Facet pump, in that position, on a stock n/a truck that’s too tall to pull heavy trailers, with 0 issue.
Many members say that Facet quality is “hit or miss” these days.
Additionally, they apparently don’t flow enough fuel for modified fuel systems.
Use the...
FYI: Fan has left-hand threads. It can be a bitch to get loose. There are several threads on removal and replacement...I’d advise you to read a couple of them.
I agree ... The idea is to eliminate the possibility of air in the system first.
FYI: My '93 IDIT had "erratic" air intrusion, only when on front tank, turned out to be a bad hack (by PO) at the tank selector valve.
Air intrusion can occur at any point, in the fuel system, between the fuel pick-up tube (in the tank) and the top of the injector.
Sounds like air to me.
I typically downshift as a last resort when towing.
I have no issue with an extra switch to accelerate more efficiently but I'd rather not add another process, to the manual of arms, when it comes to slowing the truck.
I like it...been thinking about it for a while (too long).
Me too. I would, however, like to add an automatic to the "remuda".
The Allison seems like a better option than E4OD or 4R100 to me.
BUT ... NO compression braking (with GV & I haven't been able to find a Nash).
That's a problem for...
I bought a "RoadReady" brand wheel for my dually a while back ... The one that I got was an E350 wheel and the off set IS different.
It's my understanding that the E350 was scheduled for wider tires than the F350

Use your "Google-Fu" man.
There are other manufacturers as well.
