    190f warmed up, hard towing i was around 215 last time with a few passes at 230. Not sure what the upper limits are, idk if 230 is safe constant... The check ball sits in the upper hose outlet, behind a small rubber hose chunk inside. You have to take it off to see it iirc, use stainless steel...

    Like the others have said, sounds like a wire bit the dust. You can poke the test light through the insulation if you wanted to cheat a bit, but you'll need to seal up that pinhole if its ok :angel:

    you can run rubber for a a fix to get you on the road. You can still get new short wide radiators, I found some while looking at parts online. I think some of them were on amazon but i cant recall right now...

    I think that part of the frame is designed to crumple to help absorb impacts. If you mounted a front hitch receiver it would make it more sturdy. Could then throw a winch on the front or use the front to move trailers, etc Good luck, its looking good from here!

    Tech 101 lowering battery tray for OBS G31 batteries.

    I just took my tray out a month ago, cut the bracket with the holes off and welded it to a flat piece of old metal shelving. Drilled two holes on the flat and bolted it in. also put a hole on each side for a battery hold-down bracket. Slapped some rubber material under the batt, Worked great!

    sloppy can be nice, especially on a dirty engine with crud covered plugs.doesn't take much to loosen them, I haven't stripped one yet. 6pt is the way to go, but I'm sure I've used 12pt too. Just more risk to stripping. Wobbly bits and a 10mm are your friends especially if you don't want to move...

    Perhaps if you don't change anything or load up the truck. I aligned my tires for my truck empty but two guys going hunting with crap in the bed and pulling a trailer will definitely throw off the alignment on a TTB, so what, align it loaded? Then when its unloaded it will wear unevenly again...

    Too true :D, just thinking that AND horrible timing along with leaking injectors and return line adds up. Assuming the gearing is right for the odometer/speedo. 4.10 vs 3.55 gear could skew it some.

    make sure the brakes aren't dragging at all, axle condition and alignment can make big differences too. If there is any extra resistance it sucks up power and fuel.

    I don't understand how swollen glow plugs would make an engine sound off after running for a while, the combustion chambers would be warmed up enough too at 3 minutes to not sound "off". Glow plugs aren't like spark plugs, they heat up for several seconds and then they are done doing any work...
