I knew that part, just the meter directions tell you that originally it comes with 3 of those clamps that are all different sizes for different applications. Rockauto Main Battery Cable vs making your own
What does rockauto sell for that price? Is it actually the full cable that goes from the starter, all the way up to ground on the block, then up to passenger side battery and solenoid, and over to drivers side battery with all the associated clamps and such to bolt it all right in?- ZWilson07

Does anyone have or can get an interior picture of what the different style door panels with wood grain look like in 84 and earlier? I tried searching google and 85/86 shows a lot of interior photos, but before that doesn't show much of anything.- ZWilson07

I dont see any number on the clamp at all. The only thing I see is the ground clamp itself says 48-B and the black wiring says RG 174/O.- ZWilson07

why pissed off and -25 don't mix.....
:puke: Im telling you man this cold weather does some crazy things. Like I posted in the other thread last night at work it was -5 with a wind chill of -25 and that cold makes things act so different. I worked in -5 with wind chill of -25 last night and I finally got mine to start up after a few tries and without the block heather. I should have had it plugged in at home but I honestly wanted to see how it would do on its own as temperatures never get this low in KY. You could tell it hated...- ZWilson07

Yes I know the alligator clamp is the ground, I just included it just to make sure. As far as why I didn't put the other clamps in? This is the only one that came with mine so I am hoping it happens to be the correct one LOL- ZWilson07

new problem for the old 6.9
You are going to need to post a video of it IMO. Yes having tons of smoke shooting out could mean your rings are going out finally especially at that mileage, but showing a video will be a million times easier to get a good opinion.- ZWilson07

Are you meaning the method that uses the clamp on the fuel lines? Would you just go down each injector line one by one? Also on a side note which particular clamp do we use for our lines? The kit shows it came with a 1/4 (black), 5mm (red), and 6mm (grey). I dont know if this would be...- ZWilson07

Embarrassing jumpstart mistake...need help
Don't feel bad man, it happens to the best of us. When you jump start are you supposed to use any particular one battery or what? I assume postive on first, negative 2nd? Then negative off first, positive off 2nd?- ZWilson07

Good to hear it is working out finally Gary. I know factory is 8.5 but I thought I saw Mel post that he recommends 9.5; anything you recommend or does it really depend on elevation and setup? Im talking about just a stock NA truck.- ZWilson07
