I like Eastwood's products the best but Por15 is also good.
So id say Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and then their Chassic Black over top of it if you are really wanting to go all out, but it's kinda funny that now Por15 is sold on Eastwood's site as well LOL
Yeah speaking of that it made me think back to this thread which also sheds some light on that.

Sorry to bump an older post so what causes this?
Simply just sucking air from not getting a good fuel amount from the gas tank which causes the truck to bump its timing and do that?
Ive noticed mine has started to do it just every so often when the fuel gets low. Like he mentioned you can...
Cause it'd be nice if there were a thread for each generation that were geared towards only that specific generation diesel.
No specific picture threads have been made for each body style generation that I know of, just the general one where everyone is thrown in so thought it would be a good...
Was the upgraded filler neck just to help with filling up and issues that people complain about with the filler necks?
It'd be nice to see what the actual reason was for some people getting plastic tanks vs metal, and mix and matching. Or maybe it was just one of those things Ford did just...
What was the use for the 30 amp gauge? Not being a smartass or anything, honestly just wondering as it seems like the amps are well over 100 for the set, what were you using the smaller 30 amp gauge for?
Just to make sure that the other one was at least working somewhat correctly? Sort of a...
Well that settles it, I started the threads.
It will be nice to see all the generations and actually in the trim that we are used to and helps give us a good idea. Such as height, wheel and tire combinations, axle/tranny/motor, etc.
Starting up a specific Bullnose/Slantnose picture thread.
Try and keep the discussions to a minimum and more on the pictures of everyone's setup. If you do decide to quote or ask a question, be sure to edit out the pictures themselves when you quote so as to not clutter up the thread.

Hey guys I asked Mel about this and tried searching but I don't think we have any actually picture threads solely broken down by generations and for our trucks. I thought I have seen some before on here but I can't seem to find them again.
Does anyone else know if we have these setup in the...

No I wasn't meaning it that way. Actually I would do the exact same thing as you and I want a CnC model drw to do that to, just got to find one for a good price lol.
I was just trying to clear it up and make sure that is what you were specifically wanting and why.
I would like...
So your basically just wanting the truck drw axle so that it looks better with the truck bed correct, instead of the tires being so sunk in with the CnC drw axle?
Yeah I dont know why he wouldn't show you. It literally takes like 5 seconds to see if it does or not which I just did for the one I bought.
Of course I was lucky with having 2 brand new batteries sitting in one of the living rooms for the cummins that I haven't put in yet. So that made it a...
