    Was an idi, then went 12v for 150 miles, cracked the block parked it till the 6.0l went down and currently an idi. Contemplating on going back to a 12v this week instead of dropping an idi back in.

    And that's all that engine wrote. Had to get a trailer ride home last night. Pretty confident a piston is in pieces in the oil pan with half of the rod due to a valve train failure. Carnage pics to follow later when I crack it open.

    Thanks. Looks better cleaned up. Made the hood myself to retain the factory lines. Functioning cowl. Gonna build a a taller one when I get time.

    Chased the same issues a few years back in the dually and finally determined the speedo module in the cluster was the culprit.

    With a 6.0l, it' not a concern of if, it's a concern of when. Hated as they are, I love the power they can put down once the problematic issues are resolved.

    If icp pigtail has oil on it, it has failed. Pigtail and icp sensor are on your shopping list. Peel a few more layers back or an inspection mirror for a peek into the back before you pop the turbo off.

    350 psi isn't enough to fire up. Need minimum 500 psi. On the 03's the icp direction if ruptures will blow oil into the direction of the ficm. Time to start looking up top. At 14% duty cycle KOEO is normal. With the 350 psi when cranking, IPR duty cycle will more than likely be at 85%. Where...

    Exactly! Got one in the yard with over 40 hrs of diagnostics and repairs due to mice getting into the wiring. Still needs a hpop and an IPR. I will be happy to see that one leave the yard.
