Lol, Selahdoor made this little diagram for me in a PM like 4yrs ago......he also did a write up but I have no idea how to copy that over...... its really straight forward, and you can use heavier wire than bronco graveyard offers.....- Jesus Freak

Something should turn up on a search as far as a description of how to do it...... ill try to find the picture I used...... but all the amps from both batteries are going through your headlight switch and its gets hot enough to actually melt the connector..... and it will start flipping the...- Jesus Freak

Turn the key to the on position, then go to the engine and unplug the connector on top of the injector pump and plug it in a couple times and listen for the click of the solinoid to make sure its turning on and off. That's the fuel shut off solinoid and yes, that can be an issue. The larger connecter is the fuel shut off solinoid...... but theres a big Grey connector on the passenger side of the engine that connects the engine wiring harness to the harness on the fender, unplug and clean it too......- Jesus Freak

The battery cables can actually look just fine...... exemplary even..... but be green yuck inside the cable..... usually right next to the battery terminal. Give em a big wiggle.....- Jesus Freak

Im calling it bad battery cable ends. Corrosion will build up inside the cable ends and do what you describe. Power is shutting off to the fuel solinoid thus the engine instantly dies, so check the bigger 8 pin connector that goes from the firewall to the glowplug harness..... ive had issues...- Jesus Freak

So what did you do with your truck today?
Thank you..... but its not worth saving as a mower or even a tractor for around the yard.......should be a really good L head 2 cyl Briggs engine though...... it has one of the original "vari-drive" transmissions..... its the tranny that they still use on mowers with "Troy bilt" or the cheapest...- Jesus Freak

Hey, as far as the headlights go, you HAVE to add relays to the system..... Bronco Graveyard makes a plug and play wiring harness or you can make one yourself..... but its because of all the amps of 2 batteries are passing through your actually switch in the truck causing the internal breaker to...- Jesus Freak
