NY my 1994 E350 ambulance was $274.50 which I believe is good for two years.. then another $40 for the annual vehicle inspection.. BUT since it is over 25 years old, no need to have emission tested.

    "New" superduty woes

Limp Mode. Obvious question, but the fluid full? Crawl under and check the wiring connector to the transmission. Condition of the harness, the connector, frayed, worn wires etc. See if the pins are corroded.

    "New" superduty woes

Wait. So you have a mazda?? and have a question about fuel venting?? Does it happen to be a Mazda6?? Mazda had that recall due to a fuel venting problem, and a fire risk tied to yellow sac spiders being attracted to the smell of fuel and spinning webs and making nests in the fuel vent...

What's a good aftermarket gauge cluster?

aside from the top speed, and the rpms.. I like the 1/4 mile time 1/4 mile end speed (trap speed) High speed recall functionality.. Cause IDI's are straight-line missles.. (did the sarcasm show?)

    "New" superduty woes

Sounds like you have my truck.. GP issues, air intrusion.. oh wait.. that's pretty much most IDI owners at some point.. I ended up replacing all the glow plugs, and the controller. When I disconnected the wires from controller.. it fell apart.

    Anyone in the Market?

@miles1400 That mobile phone looks like it is probably from the early 90's. With a toaster-size transmitter under the seat
  18. Fredrickson

So what did you do with your truck today?

@miles1400 How many miles are on the car, and what year is it? (I used to ask for the used parts back, told them the wife was a metal artist and she likes to express her creativity in abstract ways...I was single at the time.)

@IDIBRONCO I stored an old GTO in a barn years ago.. with LOTS of moth balls in the interior, on the intake manifold, everywhere, because I heard the same thing, and because I LOOOVED that car. I ended up with mouse poo everywhere, bad wiring, and a car that smelled like grandma's sweater...

Regarding rodents: as silly as it sounds. Peppermint oil on cotton swaps keeps them away.. (some say Bounce dryer sheets) AND.. break up bubble gum into small pieces.. (Freeze some sticks and they break easy) Rodents will eat it, but they can't digest it. . Blocks their digestive system.. and...

6.9 IDI-what kind of battery charger do I get from

Anyone with more info, please let me know if this is a old wives' tale. I had heard.. if possible, with dual batteries, connect to the positive terminal of one battery(#1), and the negative terminal of the other battery(#2). (to balance the voltage drop across the batteries)

Looks good so far.. I would wager a call to Wheeled Coach might get you a pdf of the wiring schematics for the box. (have VIN in hand) If not, I can always send you a copy of the schematics for a AEV 94 box. Nothing solid state. all relays. May or may not follow some sort of gov standard.
