I should put some air in the lines to see if anything leaks..
But there don't appear to be any pin holes. (the lines look fairly uniform).
I was just wondering if a coat of POR15 or Mastercoat would help, hinder, be overkill..
Hydro-blasted the (original) sending unit to remove 30+ years of accumulated rust, and now it looks really good.
With all the rust gone, I was wondering if the unit needs to be sprayed with some sort of primer, rust inhibitor, or epoxy coating to prevent it from getting nasty again..
Or is...
Thanks!
It looks like they have ones for 22 gallon tanks, I have a 35 gallon tank.
I will be calling them tomorrow, and seeing what I can find out.
I came across Nick Pisca's solution of using an aftermarket unit, with some modification to it...
Hey all..
The fuel sender on my 1994 E-350 has gone bad..and I am not having any luck finding a replacement.
Anyone have any pointers on where to find a fuel sender for an 1994 E350 Van..?
(even better if it's from an ambulance)
Or work-arounds to get something to work?

He has done several E4OD's...
I remember way back in the days of the 'dot.com' bubble, when companies went out of business and their equipment was auctioned off.. crazy behaviors, when compared to rational actions..
there have been articles about it. like this one...
At the sake of sounding like a Gen Y?, Z? ...Gen whatever.. there are some great videos on Youtube about Copart and how it works and how best to use it..

I really hope it is something like a worn wire somewhere.. rather than rings or valves..
I replaced the solenoid pack about a year ago.. and the injectors are were replaced very recently.
Would timing mess with overdrive performance?
Finally got around to taking the truck out after the last problematic run I posted about.
This time I was driving during the day, without rain, and with the bad injector replaced.
I googled the issue I am having, and some results point to the engine, others say torque converter.

I know it is not the return lines.. so it may be the filter connection..
To get a better view.. Is spraying brake cleaner on the line connections to the the pump (to clean off grime) a bad idea?
I have a puddle of diesel fuel that builds up on the valley pan.
(then ends up dripping off the starter)
I am hoping to find where the leak might be coming from.
(Puddle only after the engine has been running, and there are no signs of air intrusion)
There is some grime and grease built up on...
@Gr8ful , due to covid and the 'van life', movement, prices have gone bananas. Ambulances have a certain cool factor as well. Particularly with the under 30 crowd. instagram has loads for accounts with them..
Is this a type III or a van?

as well as take a look at the ruptured cap.
UPDATE
Last night was the first time I was able to look into things.
There was a puddle of diesel on the floor by the gas pedal.
There was fuel along the valve cover flange..
What I thought was a leaking injector cap on #8 turned out to be an actual HOLE in the injector cap, that was...
Is it possible that with the new injectors, the timing is very retarded?
(haven't changed out the IP yet) and it just feels like a TC issue?
and the VSS is just a coincidental thing?
