6.9 holley black fuel pump
My guess is the water separator was leaking fuel (common on the bull nose 6.9 IDI's). I'd also guess the Holley failed and that is why the new mechanical is on there. Pull the Holley off and test it. May not run at all. Plus, the black pump is overkill (volume and pressure) for an IDI. Heath- hesutton

What is your boost doing? Is there a leak in the turbine or compressor side robing your engine of the air needed to burn the fuel? Air filter good? Got a pyro? Heath- hesutton

4wd swap and RSK questions
I'd make sure the parts truck is a F350. I don't think you'd want the TTB Dana 50 on your rig. Shoot I'd rather keep it 2x4 than swap a TTB on there. LOL Ride is not gonna be Cadillac smooth regardless if you do a RSK or not. Might want to check and see how much a RSK would lift the front...- hesutton

HELP PLEASE, at a loss
Have you pulled the inspection plate off the E4OD to make sure your flex plate/TC are OK? If your injectors are dead at 30K I'd be willing to bet the IP isn't in the best shape either. Where did you get them from? More information please. Heath- hesutton

Mid rpm miss under load
Doubt it's the return lines. Typically, you'll have hard starts with some air intrusion there.... not a miss like your describing. Fuel pressure/supply, worn IP/injectors would be my initial thoughts. Easy place to check fuel pressure is the filter head where the fuel light switch is plumbed...- hesutton

Am I on the right track?
Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? I run one on both my IDI's. I have the sender in the fuel filer head so I see the pressure the IP is seeing. Certainly sounds like you are starving for fuel (loaded engine for a period of time). Had same symptoms when my Duralift and Holley red failed. No...- hesutton

Water pump preference - Int'l, motorcraft, other?
I've not had luck with chain store water pumps. I've put Ford water pumps on both my IDI's and have not had any problems. I run a coolant filter on both IDI's as well. Doubt that makes a huge difference as I had them on with the chain store pumps that failed in short order too. Not sure...- hesutton

Gt3788 guys... a question
My 6.9 has a 7.3 PSD intercooler. It is in front of the A/C condenser, which is in front of the Rodney Red. So the order is IC, AC, radiator. I had to move the radiator and AC condenser back toward the engine 1.5 inches to have room for the IC. Don't know if that helps or not, but did not...- hesutton

Gt3788 guys... a question
That's crazy. Really opposite of what I've seen. On the 6.9 - EGT's are certainly directly correlated with my coolant temp. No sure why your rig is opposite of that. Kind of a head scratcher. What are your coolant temps doing/running? Heath- hesutton

Enough with the pissing contest please. Anyway.......... I also used 5/8 hose. I used a "Y" barbed hose fitting for the inlet and outlet. Both set up in parallel with the heater core hoses. Did not have any temperature (coolant) increase with addition of the GT3788R. May have cooler...- hesutton

Me too. The last time Missy and I were at Gatlinburg was 2013. Beautiful place. Lots to do if ya want. Nature stuff (hikes, trails, bears... LOL), plenty of good places to eat, candy shops, go karts, mini golf, Branson-like shows, children's museum, aquarium, Ripley's weird museum, arcades...- hesutton

Got the camera finished.... View from my dash..... Trailer tire pressure monitor is done as well.... View from the console....
