Same setup on my old '86 crew cab. The toggle is there when I change a filter or some other fuel part to bleed air before restarting the truck.
Zero starting issues or running issues with this combo.

Well, I don't know if it possible this late in the game and I have to talk to Missy, but we can see what Greenbrier has left in Gatlenburg, TN.
Will try and recruit Jared to host with us... LOL
But, it's very late to plan a rally.
Heath
Need to talk to Missy.
But it is now so late in the process, I honestly don't know if it will be possible to get campsites.
Plus, Tennessee COVID restrictions limit camping groups to like 10 max IIRC.
Heath
Well.... the clock is ticking and if someone needs to jump in and get a plan together, it needs to happen soon as campgrounds and sites are gonna be harder and harder to reserve if they aren't held like now!
Heath
Mike, we are hoping to make it this spring. Will have to see how my call schedule develops for June. Had to work last year. Hope to have dates like today or tomorrow.

Never had a Jasper Reman'ed IDI. I know their "recent" quality has been poor. However, years ago, they had a good reputation.
As long as you aren't having any issues with it.... no worries.
Heath
I would like to see the size of the radiator too.
Did you ever see bubbles in coolant while running?
Ever done a used oil analysis? Pretty to find coolant leaking into the oil on UOA. Your oil often won't be milky or have coolant pour out of the oil pan with a head gasket leak. Found a...
Looks like that cylinder ate a glow plug.
I'd check the valves and heads in general really well. Never a bad idea to replace the front and rear main seals. Easier to do with the engine on a stand than in the truck. Same is true for the oil cooler.
Heath
Jake, sucks you're having to completely rebuild the engine. Looks like you're making great progress though.
Mel was offering complete ready to drop in reman's with studs and what have you. Wouldn't hurt to call and talk to him or Suzi.

That is the link to Jared's DT360 swap if anyone is interested. A little bird told me the DT F350 may be up for grabs too.

So...... I'm guessing John is not hosting in 2021????
If not, Jared and I will be happy to put on the 2021 Rally, unless someone else has a plan.

Good bed can be hard to get your hands on.
That would look really sharp with a flatbed. Might look at that option if you don't need a true truck box.

To avoid all the oil in my intercooler and piping, I ditched the CDR and ran a RDT. Used a Banks CDR hose adapter (bolts to the front of the IP gear housing) and ran a 1 inch hose down and towards the rear of the truck.
Heath
Excellent question. Not all rebuilds are quality work for sure.
First thing I thought was heat soak too. If you pour cool water on the IP when it is hot and it starts easily, your IP isn't properly rebuilt and needs replacement. With heat, the tolerances are too large for adequate function...
Have a Facet on my '86 crew cab with a moose pump and injectors. I run a fuel pressure gauge as well. Never have had any fuel volume or pressure problems and run it with a fuel pressure regulator. It sits on the drivers side frame rail just in front of the FSV.
Have run Holley's before...
