Is it possible to get 24 volts?

Well i'ma not an engineer yet (one more year), but this is gonna be expensive any way you look at 'er. 1. Separate 24v alternator to charge two separate 12v batteries or a 24v battery. 2. 12v to 24v DC converter. 3. 3000amp surge double pole relays to switch the two existing batteries into...

    a/c Blower

I concur. With the exception of the off setting, yer '93 is wired the same way. Only failure point for max to not work, but the other settings to is the switch itself or the connector. Pull it and inspect. Adrianspeeder

    fuel pump

Correct, '85-'89 302's, '87-'89 300/351w's, and '88-'89 460's have the high pressure frame mounted pump fed by an intank low pressure pump. When the low pressure pump fails in a gasser, usually the truck doesn't get enough fuel to run as it can't pull the volume needed from the tank...

    Lets have some fun!!!

While I don't have an IDI, I spend most of my time down in the basement. Even while runnin' the PSD around, no doubt in my mind that the '80-'96/7 trucks are the best thing Ford ever rolled off the line. Always happy to help with the knowledge I have of the older trucks from wrenchin' on the...

    Fuel gauge problem?

Sounds like it's time to pull the bed and change out the fuel pump/sender units. Common problem if your connector on the tank switch is ok. Adrianspeeder

    Headlights?

Oooo, ok so you are using relays. Basicly just the same thing I have actually for the 88 except my highbeam control is up on the dash as I don't like the floor switch. Adrianspeeder

    Headlights?

I'm sorry I said that confusingly. The diode is used when controlling relays, not stock wiring. It the diode lets the two relays trigger wires be connected to have the lows come on with the highs, but not the highs with the lows. Adrianspeeder
  23. adrianspeeder

    Headlights?

I didn't use one, but some people don't want the low to come on with the high. Get the relays and make yer own harness before you melt the stock connector to the headlight switch. Adrianspeeder
