    I know there are hard to find parts for these trucks that are diesel specific like the Valley Pan gaskets (I’ve already reused mine with no RTV fluid and it’s surprisingly sealed) so can anyone think of 80-86 specific body parts or universal parts that are hard to find parts that are worth grabbing

    I don’t quite understand this. If an N/A IDI is limited by air, then I’m quick to think that surely increasing the volume of the total combustion chamber(s) would net some power gain, since the engine can now overall intake&hold more volume of air for the combustion process to happen?

    First start up! But, now there’s this to figure out. All the “oil” that was in the truck is now on the ground. At first it looked like it was leaking from the oil filter, but it looks like it’s leaking somewhere above. Oil cooler, maybe?

Also removed and checked that the glow plug light still works in the 86 cab, because I’ve never seen it do it’s light test when the key is in the run position. I tested the light by removing it, and applying positive and negative 12v headers...
