    7.3 IDI Air Con

It's not electronic. It's a simple system. Controller has 2 plugs 1 vacuum connector and one cable for the temp door. My truck is also a 92 so it should be the same except possibly the belt system. The hoses I used fit a 5.0/5.8 but they fit with minor bending at the compresser.

    7.3 IDI Air Con

I have already done exactly this. I took the entire a/c system off my 94 f150 with 5.0 and it all bolted on. Wiring in dash is the same, vacuum hoses are same. Only difference is vacuum hoses from inside to outside, and of course ac box.also my truck has serp belt which made it easy. The plug...

    Pressure washing

I have used oven cleaner. It Will take a lot off. Keep in mind it can do damage. It can eat into aluminum and remove paint, or at least change the color of it. I once turned gm blue to pink!

    Pressure washing

Cleaning a warm engine is good, hot is not good. The electrical parts, DO NOT hit them. Water can be forced in and do damage. Even sealed connecters can take in water under pressure. I know this because I did it. Power washed an engine, didn't think anything of it. Wouldn't run afterwards...

    Battery light

If it is charging at 13.8 the alternator is working. A quick check would be to disconnect the plug on the alternator with the green wire key on engine off and see if the light turns off. If it does the regulator is going bad. You can replace it and maybe the brushes if they are worn. Or if you...

So what did you do with your truck today?

I have read about problems here with inline tube and I also know several Oldsmobile guys had the same problems with them. I would say buy from someone else or make your own.

Questions about Dana 70 wheel seals

I center the jack under the axle tube make sure the front wheels are blocked, and put a stand under it as soon as it is lifted. I have a lot of tools adding weight to my truck.

Questions about Dana 70 wheel seals

I have the H F 20 ton Jack. It lifts the rear axle of my truck very easily. Its strong enough to lift one whole side of a 70' mobile home too!

    Thermostat housing seal

Is the housing clean and flat? If not try putting sandpaper on a flat table and run the housing over it. Clean off with brake cleaner. Make sure the engine side is clean. Reseal with sealer. Right stuff is very good, ultra copper is good too. Hope that helps.

Ford used the same code numbers for different meanings on different systems. You need to check the correct code list for the system you are testing. I got used to seeing some code numbers then noticed they didn't always have the same meaning.
