Making your own helper spring for front springs, need some input
on my 95 ttb I used a main leaf out of a sd, cut it as long as I could, so it fit to the eyes worked really good. on my 96 d-60 I got a add a leaf that was shorter and didnt get the whole way to the end of the eyes, it sucked, didnt like it. on my 99 SD d-60, use a sd rear main leaf on my 92...- Double-S-Diesel

E350 van rear end with disc brake on F350, possible?

Oil leaking from here. What is it how do you repair it?
ive fixed them before, by driaining the oil out, then clean up the area as best ya can, then spreading the ford grey rtv over the area.- Double-S-Diesel

cracked track bar axle side bracket
pretty common thing. I have welded them back together at one point I believe ford had a replacement kit that bolted on with the u bolts- Double-S-Diesel

check your batteries, and connections. they may be borderline tha alternator will not start charging for up to 2 minutes after starting.- Double-S-Diesel

I am using a 2006 gensis I alos use a otc 4000 enchanced that was last produced in 1999 they can be had for about 100 now even an old snap on brick is reasonable in price now. point is ya dont need a 10,000 scanner, but ya need something better than a 9.99 special- Double-S-Diesel

problem with scanning is most dont have one, also dont want to look for one rely on parts house to scan' even with gassers people just want to throw parts at them. but with a proper scanner you can get the info right and find the problem the first time. hell with the psds I usually grab...- Double-S-Diesel

idi rad will work they are the same as the early psds, just need to get hoses from a 94.5-95 psd- Double-S-Diesel

check valve fitting for fuel inlet on cylinder head
it is a check valve was told it is needed on the superdutys due to the dead head fuel system. OBSs do not have them.- Double-S-Diesel

7.3 guys with bodylifts help
never done it on an sd. the trouble that I mainly see is the intercooler tubes will not line up and something will need modified rad , steering shaft, trans and tcase issues should be no differnt than a gasser good luck on getting the bed bolts loose, they suck.- Double-S-Diesel

turbo is different than a pickup Id be interested in the complete engine for the right price. idm is on the driver inner fender not shure of the cpu also save the acc pedal- Double-S-Diesel
