    parallel turbos

I do declare, that this is probably the 46mm one. Most the maps above show the turbo faning off in the way of the orange arrow, but this one looks to wanna build up in direction of the blue arrow. If this is 46mm one then be on a 18cm turbine housing, would think that my 10cm housing could spool...

CDR Alternative Poll - Looking for your feedback

Yea the belt that takes oil for a ride. This some old filter and a 1in 90 coulpler, I have someone weld together. This give ideal of the space arond, a -16 off a 90* could work. That filter did get moved up...

Found this guy to do some explaning on this wheel.. So for stock think it gose something like this for I can find of the comp wheel... 56/78 7+7 58lbs/min (hx35 or hy35) 50/78 7+7 46 lbs/min (hc1 or hx35) 46/78 7+7 38-40lbs/min (super hx30) And the list of billet wheels starting with...

So revisited this and will try better to understand this... Choosing a Turbo for your IDI So there is this variable ploted for cfm and lb/min 250 ÷ 2.75=90.91 90.91 × 7.5=681.82 681.82 ÷ 2=340.91cfm 340.91/ 14.47=23.56lb Then need to fill in this variable... Turbo Calculations 14.45...

    parallel turbos

After digging more on 4bt forums, I think the turbine is where it needs to be to have a clean burn thru the rpm range but the compressor inducer is too big and needs to be smaller to lower the boost range. Say with the 9cm housing and smaller turbine of the hy35, is not efficent with the 54/76...

I have this turbine housing on my hx35's 10cm hx35 turbine housing The same person has this for a hy35 and would mean I dont have to change my down pipes. The 90 on the compressor housing of the hy35, would give fitment issue and why would try to coble togther a hx32. 10cm hy35 turbine housing

    parallel turbos

I did some investigating on what is going on below 1400rpm, think might be seeing compressor surge but dont know for sure till know boost and egt. So went digging and found someone with twin hx35 turbos on a 6.5, he says that they have 9cm housing but not sure on that. Ether way he says there is...

    Self oil burning

Yea, it dose go past and as far as my curiosity gose is 3000rpm but dont want it there. I think she could do like @IDIoit ' s Man-chair-O, if I gave it a little bit more fuel. Before I go about turning up the fuel, need to get the custom dispaly panel set up for egt. The way they work is not...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

Well one the fittings, is a bit bananaed... So got brass ones and stood the filter up some so is more level... And this one as well was replaced with brass, and this only reduces the amount of oil going on the ground. Also the H/F viton o-ring, did not work out and just leaked any...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

Yea, she is trying to shrink these two pvc fitting so can be shot out the engine. Sorry on no current photos and the drive side is still tight, guess have to find this 1in stuff in brass. I am not sure on the front main seal or if something else is leaking and getting on to it, that pully sprays...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

So if 30-40 miles can can be made on a quart of oil, that means 4 stops on a run to my house. I made the run and she just wanted to leak more again, but it found other places to make fail this time. I will invetigate the out come another time, for now she sits to think about what she did. I did...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

Thank, and that was what I was thinking with what went on with the 6.9. So being weary on how far can go on oil and trying to keep the engine over 1500 rpm, the 3.55 gears with the t19 on 35s has me optimally running the ~1600-2800rpm range. She runs decent in that range for the most part, but...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

Well stuffed the pvc tube with steel wool, and zip tied it somewhere out the way. Also had 1in couplings welded on to spare valve covers, and this what I came up with for the driver side. For the passenger side, its a little bit more simple of routing... I also repurposed the filter...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

I do have this laying around, that was on its way to being a catch can for something else. So could run a 1in line from each the valve covers, to a catch can and then 3/4 to a intake tube. Also have this filter laying around that could be put on the 1in hose off the timming cover, for if...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

What I mean is the one catch can I have hooked up with the 1in line off the timing cover, dose not have enough vacuum and even teeing it to both sides dose not do any better. Would doing that give chance of run away, since there is no catch can to collect oil? For what I have ran the engine, I...

Upgrade from oil burner to oil dumper...

I am having too much blow by on a overhaled engine that sat for about 2 years, no mater what I try with one catch can works and might try a second. It is a steady pulse of smoke out the oil cap, with the oil cap its a loss out the main seals that sprays oil everywhere and with a draft tube its...

Not sure since is hard to tell with it being a little bit faded and there is new fluid. This did decied to start leaking again, I had to crank down the nuts on the ss lines to maybe get them to stop.

So what did you do with your truck today?

The bearing that is refered to, is the outer alxe bearings and those are in the two sizes. My f100 has a 9in with the big bearings and snaped a 28 spline one, so dug and found that a bronco had the right size one on the passenger side thats 31 spline. So called and talked with the pepole at this...

Well it dose now have crankase vent rounted to both sides, but there is still not yet a vacuum on it have to run with out the cap... This 90 is a pain to get tight, since wants to spin round... So where is the third hand to hold the vise grips... Old girl found a concrete curb...
