    I bought a reman engine from Jasper and they won't warranty the engine without a new radiator. I figured since I was throwing money around like I had it to spend I might as well toss some more towards the banks turbo. Got the alternator simply to show that after the first two big ticket items...

    I did make the bracket, I should have taken my time and put a bit more of an angle on it because it doesn't sit exactly parallel to the ground and it bugs me every time I look at it. The filter I got from Napa but next time I'll get it online, much cheaper that way. Now you have me wondering...

    I just now noticed the tonneau cover in your first picture. :rolleyes: If you have an endoscopy camera you may be able to get a view of the linkage and reach it with long nose pliers instead of damaging your cover.

    On my tailgate there's a linkage cover on the bed side of the tailgate with twelve screws. Remove that cover and there's access to all the linkage.

    I used to have to travel for work. I took a job with the city about 10 years ago so now I get to play with my toys more often and spend time with my bride. My shop is still a train wreck though. I should have went larger when I built it... much larger. :idiot:

    Ha ha. That reminds me of a brand new motorcycle I bought and the stock tires had raised white letters. It took me and a friend two hours with black markers coloring in the letters. To each his own.
