    This shock mount bracket was bent all out of shape. I struggled to remove the old shock and spent some time with the torch to get it to a reasonably original position so that I could install the new shock. Plus, this is the first vehicle on my "new to me" lift.

    That sounded like a nightmare. You sir, are persistent. Thank you for that tutorial. I have an older version of that brand of borescope. I got this one in the photo for Christmas and it articulates, makes it much easier to aim where you need to see.

    I have my ancient synchrowave 250 with the foot pedal control. Since I'm more of a hobbyist out of my shop and not a business, my poor technique is mostly offensive to me and not some paying customer. I improve at a snails pace. :dunno

    Hey @1mouse3 , that looks like galvanized so don't stand too close and breathe the fumes when the guy is welding it. It puts off hexavalent chromium and it's like the roach motel.... it gets in but it don't get out. :Thumbs Up

    I'll have to agree with that, although I've had my tig machine for about 30 years. You'd think I'd be better at it by now, (I'm certain you'd wince at the sight of some of my welds) it seems I like to take my tungsten for a swim more often than not. :bail

    It's been a few months since I've relocated strays but the live trap is now sitting by the door of the shop, all I have to do is be certain I have my outside cat locked in the shop for the night so I don't make her mad by trapping her instead. I'll never hear the end of it.

    Huh, talk about a better mousetrap. Not like the old plank with the trap mechanism like I'm used to. It's rare I see mice around here, squirrels and stray cats are the nuisance. I have a couple of cats but they don't **** on my stuff like the strays do.

    It did cross my mind that if there were a leak at the gauge my little Christmas tree air freshener would be hard pressed to win that battle. I'm laboring under the delusion that since diesel is combustible and not flammable I shouldn't go up in a fiery inferno... famous last words.

    I have no doubt you're more familiar with this sort of thing than I am. I have this saved in my wish list, it's not expensive at all. I won't know whether it's actually made in America, however, until it shows up at the door.
