    BOOB power tour

Agreed. I think it would have to be 2 night minimum. Maybe 3 in some places. Pull in day 1. Go do something day 2. Pull out Day 3. It certainly is a different style camping. You don’t “setup camp” so much. It probably wouldn’t be the laid back pace we’ve gotten used to but I think it could...

    BOOB power tour

Maybe it could be an every 3 or so years thing? If we could work it in through the 4th holiday, that would be fewer vacation days. Regardless, I think this concept has merit and is worth discussion.

    BOOB power tour

This is very, very interesting. Might take a while to plan but it could be epic. What do you think @F350camper ?

So what did you do with your truck today?

Am I correct in assuming that you have to pull the fiver hitch to slide the slide in in... I would guess so or he’d be tripping over it after it poked through the floor of the slide in. LOL What I really heard here was the 5er will be ready for the 2020 rally.... [emoji16]

So what did you do with your truck today?

Well after putting the new tarp on my folding cover (don’t ask [emoji849]) I went out for a little diesel therapy and got rid of some junk out of the garage. Couple notes here. Etrailer.com is awesome for customer service. I couldn’t find the tarp I needed specifically so I emailed them...

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL You’re killing me Smalls!!! I guess it’s appropriate we are having this conversation in October. Is it time to have window decals made? Didn’t they have those a few years ago? I know I still see it in some sig lines.

So what did you do with your truck today?

That was a joke subway.... it’s not mine. No I won’t be outgrowing mine anytime soon. This one is nice but with the slides it seems heavy. The weight and the added cost are the reasons we opted out of the slide outs. On models like ours, it added roughly 1000-1200 lbs and $5k to the bottom...

    Building a better db2

I think Wes has shown that it does help. I don’t remember the final outcome though.

What was the final turnout for last year? I don’t remember and we had some comers and goers.

    To continue project or??

If it’s any motivation/consolation, I very nearly scrapped my truck as I was struggling through the body work. My cab was a lot worse than I thought originally. Eventually you become “pot committed” as they say. The little I know about your truck, it seems too good to give up on if what you need...

I think he got them from Amazon. It’s for giant solar charge batteries. I forget what group size they were.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Duplicate post for some reason. I also fixed a dust cap on it. It popped off at some point. Was a pain to install which likely is a clue to why it fell off. All better. Just missing the putter cover.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Went and upgraded campers yesterday. Not really. Went and picked up my buddies camper to put the rear battery tray on it he built. Ran the wires to the back. Welded the bumper back on with some extensions. The battery tray is bolted to the frame up underneath. Looks good. He’s trying to...

Just a reminder that the rally location thread is open over in the get togethers section. If you are considering hosting, that’s the place to toss a hat in. https://www.oilburners.net/threads/2020-oilburners-rally-location.86424/ Bids close on 10/19 so clock is a ticking. LOL

So what did you do with your truck today?

Hopefully BFG has fixed their compounds. The AT’s were a great tire in the 90’s. Wore great; good in the snow. Last couple sets I’ve seen didn’t wear for crap at all. I’ve also had sidewall cracking issues on bfg pass car tires and been told “it’s normal”. Been buying Generals lately. Never...

    Rest of Ole’ Moldy

For 10$ at HF you really can’t beat the purple gun. People knock it but for a quick cheap paint job, it gets it done.

No brake lights, pretty frustrated at this point

Depends on who you ask. Some places call it multifunction some turn signal. You may need load resistors in the lines to solve the LED problems. As for the brake lights, yes it goes through the column. Yes the haz will still work. They are fed from a different source than the brake lights. But...

    Project Big Red

It’s a standard D60 KP axle out of a 90. I put new bearings and seals in the outters. Nothing special.

    Brake problems

Sinking pedal is sometimes caused by rear shoes out of adjustment. Don’t know if that helps here or not.
