Just saying..... Fuel filter mod to run taller filter that's less expensive.
IIRC the Fleetguard filter head cost about $22 and couple yr ago the place was selling out to Cat so I bought 3 cases of FS 1212 filters for about $11.50 ea to hold me. Also bought several water filters with DCA4 in them for my coolant bypass before they sold out to Cat!!- ttman4

Yrs ago on my '90 & '92 IDI I got rid of my factory expensive fuel filter set-up, did similar re mod, bought filter head that can use about a million different filters. Quick question. Where you guys find Redline MTL or the Royal Purple Synchromax? I haven't looked round much, just been using regular ATF in the ZF & BG 1356 transfer.- ttman4

Assemble an oil cooler?
I've rebuilt/resealed a few thru the yrs and main thing is keep it straight when pressing together. Several have just 'popped' together but I had one last time it cut o'rings. I had been using long jawed wood clamp everytime. But then I watched @genscripter video & did things different, did it...- ttman4

Fluid type in 1989 ZF5 and transfer case lubricant
This is the info I've gone by for several yrs. Iron case = 80/90 while aluminum case uses ATF. My ZF alumn & my BW 1356 alumn transfer both use ATF- ttman4

33 gal rear tank?
I changed out my rear tank on my '90 CCLB Dually & put that F26E tank in. Extended my pick-up tube, no sump. Worked.- ttman4

Cleaning headlights. What I tried and the results.
I replaced my complete headlite/signal lites on my '90 CCD bout 4 yr ago off of Amazon, also ordered some clear stick-on plastic that I put on over the new lites. So far so good, been happy.- ttman4

One other way to get to that top inside vengeful bolt is to start taking the starter apart piece by piece till you can get to that bolt. Guaranteed to work!! LOL Once was in a starter repair shop getting my semi starter rebuilt. In comes a local farmer, mad as blazes, carrying a cardboard box...- ttman4

How soon do I need a new IP?
I personally don't know myself but I distinctly remember being told same thing thru the yrs by 4 different diesel mechanics. Even at a carwash hosing down a hot IP, especially if it's really hot. And above all don't pour or spray COLD water on a hot IP. I've always been careful with mine, even...- ttman4

How much is too much
Well soon as I get my shop built/finished I'm gonna stud & stuff, turn mine up, & start making private trips to outer space & back. Compete with that guy down there in NM that made that trip to space & back other day!!!! It'll be in my '90 CC dually.... anybody want to go? LOL- ttman4

Couple of questions
Well my son helped show me how to scan the QR Code. We never could get it to scan on my or his phone. However several other things around the house we couldn't read the QR Code on either. So I don't know, I'll just have to try them or ck things more. Be while before I try to use them.- ttman4

Couple of questions
Well I took a chance & BO'd for $50 a set from that EBay guy, we'll see. May be a while before I use them tho. They got here today. They are in a small plastic bag inside a Motorcraft bag that looks pretty good. I'm going to do some more checking tomorrow tho. The Bags have the numbers...- ttman4

No brake lights but turn signals but hazards and override Trailer brake lights work
Well I got brake lites now. Both wires to/from brake lite switch were broke off. Fixed & all is good. Amazing what I find and fix when I take time to look. LOL- ttman4

Scott, Thanks for the video, very informative! And you looking at the pics......I had also. & that kinda popped out at me too. I could nearly see a B, but couldn't see a U either. I went back & looked some more & the bags have vent holes looks like a hole puncher poked them, not sure about that...- ttman4
