pdp filter head
I also have my filter lite sensor & the Schrader valve still there also. where do they mount? I don't see any provisions on it for those I just added more small fittings & plumed them in.- ttman4

'85 6.9 DIESEL OIL LEVEL MEASUREMENT ON DIP STICK?
Does anyone know if the 6.9 & 7.3 dipstick is the same length? Actual dipstick? For now this may not help your situation. But next time you change oil..... What I did long ago was when I changed oil on my '94 Turboed 7.3 I put in 8 qts, started it then killed it let set to settle. Then dipped...- ttman4

Why 80% wmo and 20% gasoline?
If I can get my hands on kerosene I jump quick. Yrs ago back in the early '70s when truck driving I'd get sent out by boss man with $100 bill to make the trip from Tx up to S Dakota, N Dakota, Minn, etc hauling grain or produce up or back. Many a time I'd find a Farm CO-OP, especially in...- ttman4

Recently (2-3 mo ago) I ordered couple bags 50 from McMaster-Carr for bout IIRC $8+-$9 ea bag 50 just have on hand, didn't take but couple days..... LOL Way I do it is I put most of them in usual place where my pumps, injectors, return line kits, etc, etc are put & stored. Then i stick a set...- ttman4

I think it's great you getting this going. As I understand Alcohol is used with WVO when you making Bio-Diesel....B100. I always stay mixed up on the Bull Nose, Brick, OBS...... So I just always say mine is a '90 model CCDually & it's still going. Come home tonite looked down & I was going 85+.... must'a been wanting to get home! LOL LOL- ttman4

BTW, speaking of welding stuff/bracing etc under bed and/or across frame to frame, DO NOT if possible, DO NOT weld across top of frame or down side face of frame. Weld ONLY, ONLY along radius of frame , where top of frame curves over & down along face of frame.... and be careful even there...- ttman4

GN hitch?
On my '92 when I got it it had plate stuff/channel iron under bed welded across to both sides of truck frame. with a big GN Ball Nut welded underneath. Above in bed only thing showing was small hole size of the threaded part of GN Ball. The GN Ball then was welded to about a 16x16x 3/8 steel...- ttman4

I'm wondering if it's remnants of one of the newer style of Gooseneck ball set-ups?? I've never had a chance to really look one of them over or use one. The kind I'm thinking about I think has a pull handle/thing coming out from under drivers side. Somehow pulling handle raises ball & latches...- ttman4

Still possible to get a 6.9/7.3 4x4 for under $10k?
You all talking bout insurance earlier…. About 4yr ago we had about 3’ of snow. I had my 4x4 locked in on my CCDually trying to back around in-curvy driveway. I slowly slide over into a Juniper tree and eventually busted the rt fiberglass fender and bent the rear bumper, all this buzzing back...- ttman4

I've only run Holly Red or once I ran a Holly Blue for a while. I figured I'd need to run a regulator on a Holly Black. My Hollys I've run thru the yrs have pumped it all. I started playing round with WVO back in '03. Summertime I've tried everything from 100% oils on to different mixes...- ttman4

I have my rear tank, front tank, then my 135 gal bed tank. On the frame is the factory FSV (Fuel Selector Valve). Then in front of that I installed a FSV from a gas rig set-up that has 2 in ports, 1 out port. One of the in ports is the fuel coming from the factory FSV. The other in port I have...- ttman4

Question: Couple-3 yrs back I stripped threads on my #1 injector line timing adapter.....the about 1 1/2" long thingie that goes between #1 injector & #1 injector line. I just bent #1 injector line a bit till I got it to fit & thread onto #1 injector. I know #1 injector line in a bit shorter...- ttman4

I'm here in Oregon too....Redmond. Well my front tank I run diesel. My rear tank (38 gal Bronco tank) I run my mix. Winter time 20-30-% Summer 30-40-50%.
