    What she worth?

In Arkansas, you have personal property taxes on vehicles. So you have to take the old title and separate bill of sale (need both) to the tax assessor office and have them enter the info. The VIN is mostly what they go by for the details, unless it's something unusual like a pre-1981 VIN (like...

    What she worth?

The problem, for many states/regions that do emissions tests, is that they will see the VIN and say it's gas, and it'll fail emissions due to being diesel. If it was a 1990 IDI from the factory, no emissions testing would be needed in California. 1997 is when they started doing diesel emission...

Anyone running an additional bypass oil filter?

2500 miles is the factory recommended OCI for dusty conditions/towing/heavy load/city only driving. i did that on the RV because it got 3 out of the 4 a lot.

    rotary fuel pump

I ran a Holley red on the rv in my sig for 3 years, before i sold the RV.

    rotary fuel pump

My van has one on it, I don't know the exact pump model number though, because it was on there when I got it.

    V Belt Pulley List - 7.3

I tired a 2 groove Saginaw pulley to compensate for no AC on my 89 van, but it wasn't gonna work. the outer groove lined up with the normal belt location, so the inner was useless.

    Vacuum pump pulley

Presumably you want serpentine. A used pump with a pulley on it. A bit expensive ($135+tax+shipping), but if you need it badly enough, it might be worth it to you: https://www.ebay.com/itm/267132111226 (Not my listing)

    coolant diagram

For what it's worth, 3rd gen Econolines with IDI used a mechanical heater hose valve, controlled by vacuum. One can use that if you feed it a vacuum source that you can turn on and off from inside with a valve.

    Signatures

Doesn't help that on mobile, you don't see signatures in portrait mode. Have to rotate to landscape to have the page show them. Unless you know this, you won't know they exist. Hidden signatures makes it easier to read, but the point still stands.

    Turn Signal Cam... ugh!

I put a bare cam in a Dodge van years ago, same exact part as ford, and it only worked well in one direction. my idi van needs one, i have to hold it in both directions because it doesn't hold. i bought the bare cam from O'Reilly but haven't tried putting it in yet

3G alternator over charging at idle?

It's showing fine again after getting out of freezing temperatures. I'm guessing it's something wrong in the voltage regulator, maybe the circuits contract when cold and cause issues.

    Vacuum pump tutorial

I recommend this one. Cheap and easy to eyeball. Maybe not good if you drive at night though, it's very bright and doesn't dim. But it's only $13 at moment: https://a.co/d/dwYIt6q

    Vacuum pump tutorial

This one was maybe that old, maybe 1,000 miles at most. I was on I-40 EB between Lake Havasu and Kingman. Didn't notice until taking an exit at Kingman.

    Vacuum pump tutorial

One that was nearly new and fell apart while driving. Being a van, it has more of a cross member under the pump, so it caught most of the bits. Some of the bearings weren't recovered but yeah. I bagged up what I saw and took it all in to O'Reilly for another replacement. I'm still running the...

My first E4OD…what is the issue?

I noticed something recently, hazard flashers will unlock the torque converter too, like if you press the brakes. makes sense, it flashes the bulb element that is the same for brakes. or at all it does on my van. it just keeps it unlocked, doesn't repeatedly lock and unlock with the bulb flashing

    Help a brother out...

They should. They're hard to move though, if i remember right based on the 99 F150 i had. i don't think I ever folded them, but maybe i did once. i seem to recall someone passing too close in a parking lot and knocking into it, and it went back to normal because of being spring loaded.

Pre-sidewinder banks up pipe with zf5 swap

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but here's the Banks kit with E4OD on my E350. It might be a good visual aid for the turbo kit setup when it's actually in use. You don't get this wide open view on pickups.

3G alternator over charging at idle?

It must have something to do with cold temperatures. It's a much warmer day today, and it was late morning when I cranked it up. 14.3v at idle. Same when driving.

3G alternator over charging at idle?

Here's a video I recorded during the cold start this morning. 14.9-15.2v at idle, and it went down to 14.6v with a little throttle in video. Driving was fine though, it was steady at 14.3v on the highway for a bit over an hour.

3G alternator over charging at idle?

I have a hard wired digital meter in the dashboard, and the 15 year old plug in digital volt meter, and both were within 0.1v of each other. So I didn't see any point digging out a separate meter. The hard wired one is on a separate custom circuit/fuse panel from the factory cigarette lighter...

3G alternator over charging at idle?

It was on the van when I bought it in September 2023, so I don't have warranty for it. The regulator isn't that cheap, from what I see. It's $57 on RockAuto. It's actually cheaper from O'Reilly, $49.99 I haven't looked into it yet, beyond a bit of googling. One thing I read said that ground...

3G alternator over charging at idle?

I have a cheap digital volt meter in the dashboard I added a few months ago and voltages were fine, until this morning. It was reading 15v at idle. Driving makes the voltage go down, to 14.4-14.7. I drove the planned 200 miles this morning. Made a few stops along the way and it was idling...
