Removing ATS 093 turbo from 1992 7.3 IDI
the best way to remove these are with the turbo off the truck. unbolting the pedestal will also give you more room. when i reinstall these, i use header bolts with a 7/16" head, and a ratchet wrench works perfect- IDIoit

Factory ATS or aftermarket 093 up pipe
you can go to a muffler shop and have them mig weld you some mild steel, no bellow for vibration/expansion, and heat wrap it for rust promotion. it would still run you more than $200 the 1/2" thick 304 ss flange alone cost $150. i use nothing but 304ss for longevity. the v band makes install...- IDIoit

all the vacuum does is actuate the blend doors. when i do my hydro swaps i use a super duty E-vacuum pump. works the HVAC like it should, and the pump only runs when when you need it- IDIoit
