Has anyone ever put a 6.9/7.3 IDI in a Dodge W series?

International wasn’t thrilled about Ford using their engines in the medium duty market, where International already had a presence with their own trucks. So Ford had to make a separate deal with other manufacturers for their medium duty line, which wasn’t too difficult as Ford was already buying...

    Walbro FRB-13-2 6-8 psi 43 gph

I have dual tanks and a manual fuel selector valve, my injection pump was a 90cc Moose tha I have since tampered with to maxed out. Seems to keep up just fine. As @IDIBRONCO said, the PSD system moves quite a bit of fuel in stock form.

    Walbro FRB-13-2 6-8 psi 43 gph

I used a deadhead regulator. I have a return type regulator that I plan to switch to, but that probably isn’t really necessary.

    Coolant additive

A coolant filter will keep your system clean, especially if you get it cleaned up well prior to install.

    Walbro FRB-13-2 6-8 psi 43 gph

I had an FRB-13. It lasted maybe six months. I switched to a Bosch 99-03 PSD lift pump and a regulator, never looked back. Been over a year now.

    Someone go get it!!!

It ia neither a Super Duty nor a Power Stroke, and I don’t think hauling it on a pole trailer would go very well.

    Looking at buying 6.9

I concur. Definitely give Justin a call, especially if you intend to buy his pump and injectors. I was on the phone with him earlier today, sounds like the Stage one injectors sold out yesterday, but if all goes well, sounds like he’ll make another batch soon. Yo, just pull the cab :joker...

    Add-on overdrive options for a '90 F250 2wd 7.3 idi with ZF5?

I have a Spicer 5831 with the 0.73 overdrive. I was gonna install it in my service truck about a year ago, but never got around to it. Now I’m working on a different project, I’m no longer looking to install that auxiliary box. I’d be willing to sell it, could ship via commercial address.

    Oil Filter for 1993 7.3 IDI Non-Turbo....Baldwin B7039?

I have not used the Baldwin filter specifically, but the Motorcraft FL1995 and Napa 1734 filters, which cross reference as the same. They are OEM size for the 7.3 Powerstroke (1994.5-2003) This size is what I currently use, and I recommend it. It holds one extra quart, so fill to 11 instead of 10.

So what did you do with your truck today?

So what did you do with your truck today?

I got my service truck back in action, drove it a bit over 100 miles this afternoon. The new ATS system is working great. Wider powerband, runs smooth and has good power. I have the wastegate set pretty low, 8 psi, but still seems to run about the same as 14 psi with the Hypermax kit I had...

Need an overdrive for my 1986 Ford 6.9 diesel

C6, T19, and ZF5 are all equal in length E4OD is longer

    Someone go get it!!!

I believe that is an original Hypermax conventional turbo. It could be some other kind of kit, but there’s nothing about the configuration that disproves the theory. I had a Pulse system on my 91, which varies in terms of up pipe routing from the original, “conventional” style Hypermax kit...
