    The 1.188 is the size that fit mine. Mine were super tight and difficult to press in/out. I think previous owners used the “big hammer” method and deformed the yoke on mine.

    The one I bought reads 15 ohms at empty, and 160 at full. This works in my 89. I think the gauge is supposed to be 16-158. I didn’t realize it was different before 87.

    You could look at getting a waste oil heater for your shop. Then if you get a batch of WMO that seems super questionable, use it in your furnace instead of your truck.

    I’m just glad the container held together. When it was rolling towards the edge of the lift gate, I was 100% expecting the top to burst open when it hit the ground and dump hundreds of gallons of oil into the open garage. I’m also glad I had everyone move away from the truck!

    Yup it looks like the s5-47s have a vent on top. I think I’m going to take that little shifter housing back off, and figure out the best place to drill it so I can add a hose and vent like what’s on the transfer case.
