Last month has been ridiculous. Haven't had time to do anything, and I need to catch up on a few ASAP kind of projects. I did manage to find a deal on a factory short dually bed of an 08 6.4. Pulled a 1987 out of a hole
My 93 had a bad support when I bought it. I couldn't find anything completely rust free, so I bought one that had a rusted out tray and the top half was excellent. My old one was opposite, so I cut em' both in half and welded them. Like brand new afterwards. Rock- Farmer Rock

The valve right under the IP top cover. Why are you running 10psi? That's over twice a stock lift pump. I don't know what all you have done to the engine as far as timing and mods, but that's gonna mess up your timing a bit. This one's a pacbrake brand just to give an example. The simplest way to do this though, would be to make your own kill cable. All it has to do is push the metering valve. Rock- Farmer Rock

You absolutely need some kind of shutoff from the cab. If something stupid happens like your clutch goes out, you're gonna have to start ripping off fuel lines. Just sounds like a recipe for disaster. And not that an fss is going to stop a runaway, but I can definitely see the chances of a...- Farmer Rock

Stick a compressed air line(blow gun) in the fuel fill, and stuff a rag around it to pressurize the system. If done right, it works well Rock- Farmer Rock

The adapter plate came in yesterday evening! I'm hoping to get back into this next week. Between fixing the 5.4 and the clutch job on the loader tractor, I ain't had much time for it I'm looking forward to making progress on it though. Rock- Farmer Rock

ZD-29 glow plugs?
Just be sure they are really motor craft plugs. There are a lot of counterfeit parts out there that are no better than autolites . There's a lot of discussion on that. Rock- Farmer Rock

I totally agree on the 3v motors being questionable at best, but I think we're starting to get them mixed up a bit. The 2v ain't all that bad, it's actually a very reliable engine. I'm really not worried about it. If something happens to the current engine, I have one in a parts truck that just turned 100k. I don't get why people bad mouth the 2v 5.4, it's really no worse than an LS or hemi. It's no diesel, but ain't bad for a small block. Rock- Farmer Rock

I'm thinking of trying this in my super duty when I get the 12v in it. I ended up getting a gasser for a daily due to the fuel prices, but I'm definitely interested in trying wmo in the Cummins. I was thinking of running it at 50/50 mix, does that sound reasonable? Rock- Farmer Rock
